Kezar Lake Home

This new home sits on a gradual sloping site to the lake where landscaping and house design blend well together. A thoughtful collaboration was important with the contractor, site contractor, landscape designer, architect and owner to assure the house was placed and oriented to take full advantage of the beautiful lake setting. The heart of the house is the unique living room space adjacent to a spacious kitchen, dining, screen porch and entry/stair. Large granite slabs with natural plantings growing in between the stones is edged with a low stone sitting wall, that creates another outdoor room. A master suite is located on the first floor with its own private deck. The second floor has two bedrooms and bath and an office space. The owner has appointed the interior with many unique and historical materials and fixtures to blend the old with the new.
